Kathleen C. Ropka is an experienced attorney recognized for her expertise in commercial and residential real estate and lease law, commercial transactions, construction law and related litigation in these practice areas. Her journey into the legal profession was fueled by a longstanding fascination with problem-solving and advocacy.
Kathleen represents developers, owners, and operators in all phases of real estate transactions, from due diligence, through acquisition, development, operation, and eventual disposition. She regularly drafts and negotiates agreements for the purchase and sale of real estate, leasing and development for transactions taking place throughout Illinois.
Having grown up in a family-owned construction business, Kathleen is attentive to the needs and concerns of business owners and enjoys helping clients navigate the distinct challenges that each transaction presents, providing effective service carefully tailored to the individual needs of each client. Her educational background, combined with her real-world experiences, equips her with a well-rounded understanding of the law.
Kathleen finds fulfillment in working with clients to devise creative solutions to their legal challenges and utilizes her strong analytical and problem-solving skills and extensive legal experience to best serve Stotis & Baird and its clients.
